Stars 55+ Spring 2026 Champions!

⚾ The Stars struggled to get going against Hombres pitcher Steve Folk, but everything changed in the 6th inning. 🔥 That’s when they broke out for 5 runs and took control of the game for good.

🧤 On the mound, Jeff Pruneau and Tony Moore were nearly unhittable, combining to allow just 3 hits all game. 💪 Tony did most of the heavy lifting, throwing 5 shutout innings and striking out 6 batters in the 6-2 win.

💥 The big blow came in the 6th inning, when Keith Doehrmann ripped a 2-RBI double that sealed the victory.

🏏 At the plate, Keith Larson led the way with 3 hits, while Tad Rickard, Raul Moreda, and Keith Doehrmann each added 2 hits. Willy Finnegan, Billy Johnson, Greg McMeans, and John Hale each chipped in a hit as well.

☀️ Special credit goes to Bruce Clark, who caught the entire game in the Texas heat!
